Can I have a PTE code to get into your class?

No, the math department at UCLA does not issue PTE codes. If you need my class for graduation or some other requirement, you should contact the undergraduate services office in the math department and they may be able to assist you.

Can you write me a letter of recommendation?

If you have taken or currently are taking a class with me, or you've worked on a research project with me, and you'd like to request a letter of recommendation, please fill out this request form! Please give me at least one month of advance notice when possible. If the letter is due sooner you can still ask and I'll let you know if I'll be able to meet the deadline.

If I feel that I am not able to write you a strong letter, I will tell you. If you want me to write you a letter anyways, let me know. Keep in mind that I can write stronger letters for students that I interact with more frequently, such as in lecture or office hours. If you’d like a letter or think you might like one in the future, I highly recommend talking to me in these contexts or outside of class.
